As a physical therapist and a canine rehab practitioner, I will get your dog back to his fun-loving self. After assessing your dog, I will work with you to implement a plan, while also giving you the tools necessary to decrease pain, increase strength, and improve your dog's mobility.

Your First Visit

The initial comprehensive consultation is a dedicated 60-minute session where we evaluate your dog's mobility, strength, and overall wellness. This deep dive allows our experts to create a individualized rehabilitation plan that fits your dog's unique needs. You will receive a home exercise program that will be reviewed during your evaluation.

Your Dog's Rehabilitation Program

You will be educated and guided throughout the rehab program.  Based on the individual needs of your dog, sessions may include the underwater treadmill, therapeutic LAZER, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy.

Maintenance

If you feel like you want a pair of expert eyes on your dog because you are not ready to be on your own, a customized maintenance program can be created that feels good to you.

Common Questions

do I Need a referal?

We legally must have a referral prior to the evaluation. A referral form will be sent to your veterinarian to be filled out.

What conditions are treated?

We specialize in post and pre-operative recovery, chronic arthritis management, joint dysplasia, soft tissue injuries, neurological rehabilitation, and customized fitness programs for aging and overweight dogs. 

how long are sessions?

The evaluation is 60mins and treatment sessions are 45mins.

How long will my dog need rehab?

Rehabilitation is a proressive, non-invasive treatment approach that requires multiple visits to ensure your goals for your dog are achieved. Typically, session are 1-2x/wk for 8-12wks. Each dog is different and after an evaluation is completed, a more accurate determination can be made.

Will rehab hurt my dog?

You may observe fatigue and/or soreness after a session for a few days. This is normal and should subside as your dog improves. The treatment program can be adjusted to minimize this. 

How much does it cost?

Sessions can be either purchased individually or in packages to decrease the session fee. A customized package will be created for your dog’s specific needs.
